Fermin Rajunov

With over thirty six years of experience in manufacturing, real estate and finance, Fermin Rajunov has earned a reputation as a creative entrepreneur and an excellent administrator. Fermin has established, grown, managed and sold various companies in Mexico City and the United States in industries including: plastics, perishables, wire and cable, printing, real estate and finance. He sold his first company at age 27 to Monsanto, and followed that achievement by starting up two more successful businesses over the next ten years. He orchestrated a multi-million dollar joint venture with Schlumberger that brought the Smart Card technology to Mexico. Fermin has run businesses both large and small, and their success is directly attributable to his hard work and strong business acumen, and his ability to adjust to different business cycles.

After moving to the United States, he decided to start a real estate firm that would take advantage of San Antonio's prime investment opportunities and incredible growth potential. The idea became a reality when Presto Capital was born. Initially, the company started buying and selling mortgage notes, but quickly progressed to acquiring raw land for development. Presto Capital is now responsible for the development of several successful commercial properties and is in the process of developing the largest and most luxurious master planned community in the south side of San Antonio, The Preserve at Medina River.

Mr. Rajunov's areas of expertise include finance, accounting, management, investment and development. He has overseen companies with over 800 employees and brokered joint ventures with private and public companies. He received his education in Industrial Relations at the Universidad Iberoamericana de Mexico and in Business Administration at the Universidad Autonoma de Mexico.

Fermin is in the process of creating a real estate fund focused on the acquisition of developed and undeveloped properties throughout Texas. His political experience on large projects has afforded him many opportunities to work with several city leaders. He has worked with and developed a strong rapport with city planning staffs, planning commissions, city councils, state boards, and other governmental agencies.

His latest venture is FED Investments, a start up company focused on buying the invoices of small and medium size companies that have short term cash problems. Currently he serves on the board of the Southwest Independent School District Foundation, United Communities of San Antonio, as well as several other professional and community organizations throughout San Antonio.
