With year-round great weather, unsurpassed cultural and entertainment options and the historical character of one of the nation’s great cities, it is no surprise that San Antonio is one of the most popular vacation destinations in the world. The metro area is the 8th largest city in the United States and many new residents want to live near the heart of the city.

One of the most attractive amenities of The Preserve at Medina River is its location. This community, with the look and feel of the Texas Hill Country, is less than 15 minutes from historic downtown San Antonio and is less than 2 miles west of the state-of-the-art Toyota plant. It will be the largest master planned community in “City South.” Residents of The Preserve at Medina River will have no problem finding the heart of Texas. They’ll live there.

Location is just part of the allure of this gorgeous community. The development will set aside 160 acres as a natural park. The park will incorporate the Medina River, three lakes and magnificent and mature oak and cottonwood trees. There will be a delightful trail system which will connect to the current Medina River City Park Trail System and allow residents to walk or bike to park areas and the future retail portion of the community. Modern soccer and other sports fields will also be a part of this vibrant new community.

In addition to these amenities, there are discussions underway with the Southwest Independent School District to build an elementary school within the community.
